Discovery Village is currently under construction with an estimated completion date of mid to late December 2021. Please note that these dates may be delayed due to construction difficulties and Covid, but we will offer move-in as soon as we are able to!
There will be 36 high quality affordable two bedroom ($438-$1000) and three bedroom ($513-$1250) units available starting January. Applications are processed as a first come first serve basis, based off of the time application is submitted and documents are provided when needed (we allow 3 days).
Discovery Village is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project, meaning households have to meet certain restrictions. The table below shows a summary of the MAXIMUM gross (before taxes) incomes allowable per household. Households that gross an income above the amounts in the table will not qualify. The income restrictions go up with each household member.
In addition to our affordable housing units, Discovery Village also offers 2 Market Units, which are not subject to income restrictions.
Discovery Village has a minimum income of 2x rent (without rental assistance). Management will place applicants in the lowest rent available unit that the household qualifies for at the time of application. Applicants are able to reject a unit offer twice before being removed from the waiting list.
In addition to these income restrictions - ALL household members may not be full time students. The term "household" means all members of the apartment, including minors.
BlueLine does do accept vouchers and/or rental assistance.
